Supervisory
General supervision, including daily awareness of resident functioning and continuing needs, the ability to intervene in a crisis, and assistance in the self-administration of prescribed medications.
Level I
Medication Management (includes the following):
Medication assistance
New ordering/refill assistance with medications
Medication clarification as needed with physician
Personal
Assistance with activities of daily living that can be performed by persons without professional skills or professional training. This includes provision of care services and the administration of medications and treatments by a licensed nurse and/or a physician approved trained caregiver.
Level II
Medication management as listed above in Level I
Assisting with basic activities of daily living (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and continence)
Directed
Programs and services, including personal care services, provided to persons who are incapable of recognizing danger, summoning assistance, expressing need or making basic care decisions.
Level III
Assisting with basic activities of daily living (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and continence)
Administering medication per Service Plan/Doctor’s orders
